The Yellow-bellied Sheath-tailed Bat[1] or Yellow-bellied Pouched Bat, Saccolaimus flaviventris, is a species of sheath-tailed bat in the family Emballonuridae. It is found in Australia and Papua New Guinea.
The rare, but fatal to humans, Australian bat lyssavirus has been discovered in the Yellow-bellied Sheath-tailed Bat.[2]
